A suite of pre-Nobel activities will be taking place in Stockholm

The Nobel Prize is a great opportunity to celebrate some of the world바카라 사이트s greatest minds in research and innovation and acknowledge their valuable contributions to our society.
In the lead up to the Nobel celebrations the British Embassy in Stockholm will be hosting a series of exciting events under the banner 바카라 사이트Research & Innovation is GREAT바카라 사이트. These events will highlight the importance of international collaboration and cross-disciplinary efforts to bring the benefits of science to society through education and innovation.
The main event will be a held on 6 December at Konserthuset in Stockholm. In the morning there will be seminars and networking events with guest speakers from the UK and Sweden, such as IVF pioneer Lord Robert Winston, spokesperson of CERN바카라 사이트s ATLAS project Professor David Charlton, British Ambassador for Healthcare and Life Science Lord Ajay Kakkar and the Director of Stockholm Brain Institute Edwin C. Johnson.
Business event
These seminars and networking events will highlight the collaborative opportunities between Sweden and the UK in health and life sciences, and provide an opportunity for scientist and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas on ways to break the barriers to innovation and investment in science.
Public event
In the afternoon the public will have a great opportunity to learn more about the importance of today바카라 사이트s science and how it will be shaping tomorrow바카라 사이트s future. IVF pioneer, Professor Lord Robert Winston, will conclude the day alongside spokesperson of the ATLAS Collaboration at CERN, Professor David Charlton, and some of Europe바카라 사이트s best science communicators 바카라 사이트 the FameLabbers, in a public seminar event designed to inspire the next generation of Nobel-winners. UK Comedian, Quentin Cooper will continue as host, facilitating a fun, engaging and educational feast for scientists and curious minds alike! 3D exhibition on dark matter An unique exhibition in the front foyer of Konserthuset, featuring a dark matter exhibition from Durham University will also be open to the public throughout the day (entry from Hötorget)
