Prime Minister Appoints Rob Dickins CBE to the Board of the National Portrait Gallery

David Cameron has appointed Rob Dickins as a Trustee for the National Portrait Gallery for a term of four years, running from 1 June 2016 to 31 May 2020.

Born in the East End of London, Rob Dickins has had an extensive바카라 사이트‹ 바카라 사이트‹career in the music industry as Chair of Warner Music UK and as Chair of the industry body, the BPI. In 2002 he was awarded a CBE for services to music. His interest in Art & Design바카라 사이트‹ 바카라 사이트‹led him to become a Trustee of the V&A Museum 바카라 사이트‹where he also sat on the board of V&A Enterprises바카라 사이트‹. Rob was a founding Trustee and a principal fund-raiser for Youth Music. He is a longtime supporter and Trustee of 바카라 사이트˜Watts Gallery - Artists바카라 사이트™ Village바카라 사이트™, dedicated to the work of the Victorian artist and visionary G.F. Watts and his wife Mary. He 바카라 사이트‹바카라 사이트‹donated a collection of over 4,000 19th Century photographs 바카라 사이트‹to the Gallery depicting the lives of Victorian artists. He recently retired as Chair of The Theatres Trust and is a Trustee of 바카라 사이트˜Handel & Hendrix in London바카라 사이트™. Rob lectures in music and art history, is a visiting Professor at London Metropolitan University and the University of the Arts, London. He is also a guest lecturer at Berklee College of Music in Valencia.
