Change of Her Majesty바카라 사이트™s Ambassador to Yemen
Edmund Fitton-Brown has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen.

Mr Edmund Fitton-Brown has been appointed Her Majesty바카라 사이트™s Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen in succession to Ms Jane Marriott, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Fitton-Brown will take up his appointment during February 2015. Whilst operations at the British Embassy in Sana바카라 사이트™a remain suspended, Mr Fitton-Brown will be based outside Yemen at a location in the region.
Mr Fitton-Brown joined the FCO in 1984. In his last appointment, he was Counsellor in Dubai. He has had previous postings in Riyadh, Cairo, Kuwait, Rome and Helsinki.
On his appointment as Her Majesty바카라 사이트™s Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen, Mr Fitton-Brown said :
I am honoured to be appointed. These are challenging times for Yemen and I look forward to working closely with Yemeni stakeholders and other Friends of Yemen to help the country build a platform for a more secure and prosperous future.
