Mr Alastair Morgan honoured with appointment of Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea
Mr Alastair Morgan has been appointed Her Majesty바카라 사이트™s Ambassador to the Democratic People바카라 사이트™s Republic of Korea in succession to Mr Michael Gifford, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Morgan will take up his appointment during December 2015.
Mr Morgan joined the Department of Trade & Industry, now the Department for Business Innovation & Skills, in 1985. His first FCO appointment was in 1992. He has served in the Embassies in Tokyo and Beijing. He was most recently Consul General in Guangzhou.
On his appointment as Her Majesty바카라 사이트™s Ambassador to the Democratic People바카라 사이트™s Republic of Korea, Mr Morgan has said:
I am honoured to have been appointed the next British Ambassador to the Democratic People바카라 사이트™s Republic of Korea. I look forward to representing British interests and to working constructively on issues of importance to the 바카라 사이트s and people of both countries.
