Change of Her Majesty바카라 사이트s Ambassador to Qatar
Mr Nicholas Hopton has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to Qatar.

He will succeed to Mr Michael O바카라 사이트Neill, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Hopton will take up his appointment in July 2013.
Mr Hopton joined the FCO in 1989 and has served most recently as Ambassador to Yemen. He has worked on national security issues in the Cabinet Office, led the International Organisations Department in the FCO and has European policy experience from postings in Paris and Rome and time as Private Secretary to the Minister for Europe.
On his appointment as Her Majesty바카라 사이트s Ambassador to Qatar, Mr Hopton has said:
I am delighted to be going to work in Doha at this important time. Qatar is a remarkable country making a huge political and economic impact across the region. The UK values highly the historical relationship that binds our two nations tightly together.
