Detail of outcome
The Building Safety Levy will ensure developers contribute to fixing unsafe buildings, protecting leaseholders and taxpayers from remediation costs. This document summarises the feedback from the second technical consultation on the levy and provides the government바카라 사이트s responses. Feedback from the first consultation was used to develop the proposals outlined in the second technical consultation, which provided a greater level of detail on the operation of the levy, covering the following areas:
- methodology for levy calculation
- the collection process
- disputes and appeals
- further exclusions
- public sector equality duty
The levy will be implemented in Autumn 2026, giving local authorities and developers time to prepare. It is part of the government바카라 사이트s broader effort to improve building safety and prevent future tragedies.

바카라 사이트바카라 사이트The Building Safety Act 2022 introduced powers to impose a levy on certain new residential buildings in England, to raise revenue to be spent on building safety.
